ABOUT ME

My philosophy:

When the "fix engine light" comes on in our car, it gets our attention and we take it in to the professional to get it fixed, otherwise it is likely to break down and with continued neglect or ignoring the problem there is a good chance it cannot be fixed. The same goes for our bodies, our relationships, our children, our lives, our anxiety, pain, anger and suffering.

For many people, asking for help is not so easy; harder still is being completely honest and vulnerable with your therapist. If you finally get to a therapist and don't find the results you expected, it is time to speak up or seek another therapist as soon as possible. Just like mechanics, not all therapists are created the same, we don't all have the same education or experience so I encourage you to find the one that you feel comfortable with and find results.
